When making decisions, weigh the opportunity costs. When you say Yes to something, you’re also saying No to something else ← that’s the opportunity cost. So for example, you say Yes to a lower budget client. You keep saying yes, so then your schedule is filled up. Then your dream client calls, but it’s a short deadline. Exhausted, and running on fumes, you are unable to take on the new project.
Be aware of what you’re agreeing to do, so you know what you are giving up.
